Community Involvement

Dr. Marie Durflinger and Team Marie have played an active role in the community of Auburn for over 25 years.  We believe that it is an important responsibility to serve and maintain involvement in the community we live and work in.

Building strong partnerships within the Auburn community 

Dr. Durflinger and her team at Auburn Family Dental have established deep community roots and have developed life-long relationships focused on giving back and making a positive difference. 

Dr. Durflinger is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and actively participates as a fundraiser volunteer and chair for many organizations such as Seattle Celebrity Waiters and the LLS. She has funded scholarships, presented at many educational venues and has made guest appearances in local schools teaching students the importance of good oral hygiene.  Dr. Durflinger has mentored many future dentists and dental hygienists that attended Auburn High School and Auburn Riverside High School over the last 25 years. These students have gone on to pursue higher education and many of them are now serving as dental professionals in the Auburn community.
